A quick post to let everyone know that I’ve found a better way to organize my e-list!

Introducing ” Mail Chimp! “

Mail Chimp!

” Mail Chimp ” is a free web based email client. I’m just getting started with it, so there might be a few bumps along the way. But stay with me. I’ll get them smoothed out when/if they arise!

So, from now on, my list will be up and running on this platform.

Current members, please take a minute to resend your information to me, by clicking on the link at the bottom of this post or the “@” on the right sidebar.

New members, please do the same!

You will be taken to a ‘registration form’ page to fill out.

There is also, again an “optional” input field for your snail mail and birthday.

Not required…but perhaps you’ll find it worth your time!

I’m back with 2 of my favorite puzzle “Star Wars Galaxy 5″ cards!

First is a 4 card “Jango Fett” piece:

And this 4 card puzzle of “Zam Wesell” which is probably my personal favorite.
Due a lot to the bright colors I used! And the white rim-lighting!

I got really interested in the whole “Star Wars” thing when doing these. I hope I’ll be apart of future sets!

I will have a UstreamTV show sometime this week, barring any unseen disasters!

I’ll be inking some of my other/older commissions that are past due…trying to clear out some stuff before I start a new schedule.

When the “new” schedule starts it will be a consistant one.

I plan on doing the “Wednesday Nite Sketch” and the “secret” show to be announced when I can actually start it!

I might try to find time to put in a $10 head sketch day in the meantime…but that all depends on how busy DC Licensing wants to keep me this year…which so far has been “busy!”

Whew!

I made it back OK!

Did a 33 hour marathon to complete my “Star Wars Galaxy 5″ cards! What a Ustream show that would have been, huh?

I’m sorry for my lack of posting, but really my hands were tied and I just don’t like to post for the sake of posting. Altho I do like “writing” a blog, I think, for “me” I need some art to go with it! I was focused on my work at hand, and decided that waiting would be best for everyone!

So I thank you all for hanging in with me and stay tuned for more!

Anyway…here’s a few today, and I’ll post more in the coming days of what I did!

I used markers, colored pencils and some white paint for these pieces.

After doing the “Yoda” I showed it to Mike Zeck he noted I should have turned the cards so the “SW” card imprint wasn’t in the image…what was I thinking?

Well, I was thinking the cards should all be “upright” as printed…then I wised up with the “Darth Maul!”

As January comes to an end I am finally dug out, altho a bit tired from having a lot of work due within days of each other. The great thing is I made my deadlines on all the projects and am on schedule for 2010 so far! A bit worse for wear, but I’m going to make up some sleep this weekend…well, that’s the plan anyway.

I’ll begin to get back on UstreamTV as soon as possible!

Looking forward to getting back on to my Wednesday Nite Sketch, and my “new” show, which you “e-list” members already have heard about!

Black and White "Star Wars Galaxy 5" cards for Topps

I’ve always been a fan of black and white work. Maybe it’s still the “inker” left in me?

Well, got Bella to the Doctor yesterday, seems to think she’s having some allergy problems due to this cold snap we’ve been having in Florida. As of this writing it’s a balmy 31 degrees out! Looking at the weather on my iPhone, looks like the 7 day forecast keeps us at under 60 degrees until next Tuesday, when we will reach 62! Whew…a heat wave!

Where’s that global warming Al Gore’s been talking up?

I think I’ve picked up a bit of a cold myself, but must go on as much as I can. Hopefully, if it stays like it is now, I’ll not get knocked out. That would be a nightmare right now.

Hope you all are well and feel free to comment on these cards. I’m not sure if I’ll be posting again tomorrow. If not it will probably be on Saturday or early next week.
